@ Karthik and Abinaya–>DEET is conducted to choose your nearby study center,based on the marks recieved you can choose your study center,the counselling will not be much like of Engineering counselling,u will get your call letter, u can Probably choose the study center u wanted incase the no of seats in a study center is 60 then if its filled then u have to choose another nearby study center,however the certification is of Distance Education Anna University no matter what the study center u choose.Favourably the counselling is scheduled to be on September 18 2010.For more Information. http://www.annaunivedu.net/category/distance-education

Why the counselling is scheduled very much delayed? … my rank is 376.. will i get mit as my study center?
—>Vivek there would be 60 Seats allocated for every Study Center,376 is a Forward Rank for MIT depending on the Rank holders from 1 to 375 the range and interest in the particular study center the vacancy would vary for 376,probably would be positive for 376.
How many canditates wrote DEET 2010 AY 10-11. ? Intake of Number of students in a study center? which Specialisation is best if am working in a core industry? please help by answering these questions…

Firstly thanks for your predictions that i will get admission within Anna university for my rank 869. Yes ! I took a seat in Alagappa college of technolgy(Anna Univ.) in Technology Mgnt. However i want to know if my selection of college is good since i also had the choice of M.I.T chromepet. i chose A.C.Tech since it comes within Anna univ. campus and also easier for me to go. Though my decision is final, i just want you to throw some light on my choice if you have any idea about it. your feedback is appreciated.

Anna Univ. website says the classes for first sem begin from oct.9th. Before that should we have to go to the respective college and do any formalities about admission, enquiring and registering for classes or anything of that sort. Also mention whom should we contact or where should we register?

I secured 646th rank in the MBA enrance exam. My counseling time is 13.03.2011 (10:00 A.M). I have applied for Human Resource. I wish to know whether I will get seat in Anna University(College of Engineering) or MIT and also about the students strength per batch in each college.
